I love to produce videos, work on films, and create vibrant color contrasting pictures; lately I've also been drawn to black and white photography. Ever since I was a kid, I've always been very interested in the pre production side of filmmaking. Because of that, I really enjoy creating movie props, so the main goal of my work is to marry these two avenues of creation.
I feel really drawn to the work of Ralph Maquarrie on Star Wars and Stan Winston Studios on countless films. Winston’s company made some of the best practical effects in film history, and Maquarrie’s concept art for the original Star Wars trilogy has some of the most pleasing compositions I've ever seen; both of which are legends in the filmmaking space and were paramount to allowing the creative visions of others to come to life. Although neither of these influences explicitly relate to photography and videography, both were fundamental to shaping who I am today as an artist.
